A “Whopping” Birthday Bash

Yuppers. We were there. It could be the event of the year. There were so many blogger mommies and daddies there. There are many whom I have met before, a few that I’m meeting for the first time and some that I saw but was not introduced to.

This time I wasn’t really late. When I arrived, many mommies wasn’t there yet. I managed to grab a seat with Tracy and Destinee, as well as at the same table as Shannon, Tecky and Rachel. I think maybe coz I’ve been meeting up with bloggers for a few times now that I felt less shy *LOL* (believe me, I’m not the bubbly type who can go around chatting people up).

After settling down, I went around being Santa, giving away presents to the moms of the birthday kids… Amah, Annie and Barbara. I brought my own marker to write the notes on the presents *LOL* coz I had been meaning to get cards to go with them but I ran out of time. The whole week has been too hectic. When I got to Ashley’s present, I decided to include my BLOG because I doubt her mommy knew who I was *hahaha*.

The party was a successful one, even for me when I have 2 kids who clung to me. Ivan refused to go into the playroom by himself and let mommy sit and chat with the other mommies. I managed only a few pictures myself, mainly because my camera ran out of battery. And till this day, I am still in search of the charger!

Halfway through, Jazzmint left I didn’t even notice it. I was totally engrossed in the clown playing games with the kids. But seriously, the clown is totally gross, but he was quite entertaining for the kids. Towards the end, I had to leave on time as I needed to attend another full moon party at my friend’s house (you say this month I pokai or not lah like this).

Some photos to share… enjoy!

p/s: See Jayden’s “apa-lu-mau” face *hahaha*

Happy Mother’s Day

*Hahaha*… only half a day left but here I am!

Happy Mother’s Day
to all my readers who’re moms, mom-to-bes and also not forgetting about those who are trying to be a mom!

Personally, I feel that there’s nothing special about this day because I truly feel that children should honor their moms and dads all year round, and not wait for just one day to show how much they care! Additionally, there won’t be any special celebrations with my family, lazy to go out and wait for a place to sit in restaurant, wait long time for the food to arrive, pay extra for food that normally costs less, etc etc.

p/s: Will be updating pictures from the Malacca trip soon, just got them! And also sorry for being so MIA, work’s been crazy!

Tag: Back to the 80s

Got this tag from Nadia on 26th March, it’s been more than a month and I’m finally digging into it *LOL*. Sorry Nadia, better late than never. Hmm… I wonder why this tag is called back to the 80’s? I turned 18 in 1995. So, on with the tag, instructions as follows:

Go to PopCulture site.
Pick the year you turn 18 years old.
Get yourself nostalgic over the songs that year.
Write something about how those songs affected you.
Pass it on to five more friends.

My list of songs… follow Nadia and put 5 lah, coz I don’t see the instructions stating a number. Oh, by the way, I listen to songs without knowing their title and singer. Unless I’m very interested in using it as a ring tone or purchasing the album. So, pardon me ah, can cincai (Hokkien: simply) list 5 songs which the title sounds familiar to me ah? *hahaha*

1. When I Come Around - Green Day (Huah! This song was really hot then, and especially this one it kinda grows on you.)
2. Kiss From A Rose - Seal (Think this I heard from the Batman movie and it kinda stuck in my head.)
3. One Sweet Day - Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men (Loved it then, and still do.)
4. Come And Get Your Love - Real McCoy (I love this band, their beat is really nice.)
5. Colours Of The Wind - Vanessa Williams (I remember Pocahontas when I hear this song.)

Well, no one to tag. Late for a month already some more want to tag people kah?
